Section 301, Tranche 4 Duty Increase Announced
The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) has announced its intention to publish in the Federal Register (FR) an increase from 10% to 15% on the additional duties imposed on goods of Chinese origin under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, Tranche 4.
- List 1: Goods listed in Annex A of the FR Notice of Modification to Section 301 Action will be subject to 15% duty when entered for consumption, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after 12:01 a.m. EDT on September 1, 2019.
- List 2: Goods listed in Annex C of the FR Notice of Modification to Section 301 Action will be subject to 15% duty when entered for consumption, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after 12:01 a.m. EDT on December 15, 2019.
