FedEx Trade Networks eManifest

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) completed the deployment of electronic systems (Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and eManifest Portal) for highway carriers to transmit cargo and conveyance data in 2011. Now that all transmission options are available, highway carriers will have until the fall of 2013 to comply with the mandatory electronic transmission requirements. The CBSA anticipates being able to provide carriers as much as 45 days advance notice of the mandatory compliance date.

When the implementation timeline is completed by the CBSA, highway carriers deemed to be non-compliant will be denied entry to Canada and issued monetary penalties.

Please complete and return this questionnaire for more information on Canadian EDI and the eManifest portal.
