James Lietz, Global Trade Services & US Customs Compliance Manager for Procter & Gamble made the following remarks regarding WorldTariff:
Through training from TCAS, Converse learned about the components of an Export Management System, the importance of export compliance and recordkeeping, and the benefits of knowing duties and taxes prior to shipping. The training provided by TCAS was very well received. Keith Briggs commented, "The training class was very good. It gave the Converse Traffic Team a lot of insight and knowledge into the many pitfalls of international shipping. The Converse team learned a tremendous amount. Also, the way in which the FedEx team came together to provide the training was impressive."
St. Eve International
St. Eve International, an importer of women's and girls' undergarments and sleepwear, recognized the need to deliver merchandise to its customers in a safe, as well as timely, manner. Paul McCormack, Director of Imports at St. Eve International, knew that participating in Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) was the right thing to do and that TCAS was the right group to help him through the application process.
Paul was so pleased with the FedEx Trade Networks customer service he received that he recommended the advisory group to his colleagues in the industry. "The fact that I could go to my FedEx Trade Networks representative and be referred to TCAS was a big help," Paul said. "And since the advisory group shares the FedEx name with a FedEx company I already do business with, I knew I could count on terrific service."
